About these terms
These terms govern your use of KiwiTradies, a recruitment service operated by VentureX Ltd (“VentureX”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By submitting an enquiry, candidate profile, CV, job brief or other information through KiwiTradies, you agree to these terms.
What KiwiTradies does
KiwiTradies connects New Zealand tradespeople interested in Australian opportunities with Australian businesses seeking staff. We may source candidates, review information, discuss roles and experience, make introductions and support a recruitment process.
An introduction is not a promise of employment, a successful hire, a particular start date or a particular outcome.
Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. If you submit information for a business, you confirm that you have authority to act for that business.
Your information and documents
You must provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading. You must have the right to provide every document and item of personal information you submit. Tell us promptly if relevant information changes.
Candidates remain responsible for the accuracy of their employment history, qualifications, licences, tickets, references and right-to-work information. Employers remain responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of their job briefs, working conditions, remuneration information and hiring decisions.
Recruitment arrangements
Specific recruitment work, placement fees, replacement terms, payment obligations or exclusivity arrangements may be covered by separate written terms agreed between VentureX and an employer. If those separate terms conflict with these website terms, the separate terms apply to that recruitment engagement.
Checks, licences and relocation
Any screening or verification we perform is limited to what we expressly agree to do. Employers must make their own final assessment of a candidate and verify any licences, registrations, tickets, references, medical or safety requirements relevant to the role.
Candidates and employers are responsible for confirming immigration, visa, right-to-work, licensing, tax, relocation and professional requirements. KiwiTradies does not provide immigration, legal, financial or tax advice. You should obtain independent professional advice where needed.
Acceptable use
You must not use KiwiTradies unlawfully, impersonate another person, upload malicious material, infringe another person’s rights, scrape the service, interfere with its operation or use candidate or employer information for a purpose unrelated to the relevant recruitment process.
Intellectual property
VentureX owns or is licensed to use the KiwiTradies name, branding, website content and software. You retain ownership of material you submit. You give us a non-exclusive permission to store, copy, review and share that material only as reasonably necessary to provide the recruitment service, administer the platform and meet our legal obligations.
Third-party services
We use third-party infrastructure and communication services to operate KiwiTradies. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from this site or for services outside our reasonable control.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information and forms part of these terms.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep KiwiTradies available and accurate, but the service may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn. To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, loss of profit or loss arising from a hiring decision, employment relationship, relocation decision or information supplied by another user.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
Suspension or termination
We may restrict or stop access to the service if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, information is misleading, use creates a security or legal risk, or continuing the service is no longer appropriate.
Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page. The effective date above shows when they were last updated. Changes apply to use of KiwiTradies after publication.
New Zealand law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
